Our doctors at Sedation Dentistry Associates are certified sedation dentists. Patients with increased anxiety, nervousness, or those who need a significant amount of work are candidates for oral sedation. Administration of pills or IV Sedation under close supervision is clinically extremely safe and allows for extensive treatment to be performed in a single appointment. Our Team has restored mouths to complete health in as few as one visit using sedation and advanced techniques.
Common Questions Regarding Sedation Dentistry
Will I be groggy after my treatment is over?
You will feel just fine. For your safety, we do require that you have a family member drive you home and stay with you for a few hours.
Is sedation dentistry safe for me?
Before starting any treatment, we review your medical history completely to determine if you are a candidate.
Will I be totally relaxed?
You’ll receive just enough sedation so that you will be completely unaware of the treatment as if it were a dream.
Will I remember anything?
At the end of the treatment, you’ll have little to no memory of the dental visit.
